Single or attached ...

I'd rather go for single as when I was young, the first time I knew how to talk and understand what people are saying to me clearly ..

My mom told me this:
Until you reach university Shakir, do not have a girlfriend. It's not good for you.

So I carried on that stand everywhere I went and as I aged.

But even if I wasn't told that, I'd still go for single.

Know that gf/bf in secondary school is far more fictional than elves or goblins or trolls.
Why do I say that?

Secondary school students do not understand the complexity of a relationship. They're simply not mature enough.

All a relationship has are simply holding hands, doing things together and supporting one another.

Basically that. After that, there's nothing else to do.
And in bf/gf relationships, one might get attracted into harmful or bad ways of like due to pleas from the other.

Such as smoking. A boy might smoke and when he gets a gf, he asks his gf to smoke with him. The gf normally says yes cause well .. She think's she's in a real relationship and should support her bf.

So, they smoke. Same goes for drugs.
Alcohol too.

.. Nvm. Why don't you just ask your mums and dads or your siblings this question :

What is a relationship?

They'll give you the answer to the question, and they'll give you the idea of whether one should be attached when in secondary school or not.

Know that a relationship in reality is not simply smsing the other at night, or saying goodbye or escorting the other back home.

It's more than that. It's a constant morale supporting procedure, mind-bending torture, physically constraint and constant use of energy.

Like what they usually say in marriages :
" Will you take him, through sickness and in health, through peril and danger, through all obstacles, as your husband? "

Relationships lead to marriages people. They're not just boyfriend-girlfriend. It's marriage.
And that's a whole other thing. Relationship basically is post-marriage. You can't always be a boyfriend/girlfriend to someone else for the rest of your life can you? If you truly love that person, marry em.

That's it. That's that. You marry em. You don't want to? Or just isn't ready yet ... then you wait. But if the other waits but just can't wait any longer, then you don't love the other.

One SHOULD NOT BE ATTACHED in Secondary school.
It's good for you. I'm serious.

If you think I'm wrong and you think your gf/bf loves you and takes your relationship seriously, then your wrong. Laugh at me .. sure. I can take that. But I don't think you can take it when your bf/gf deserts you and I'm laughing at you.

Can you take that? THINK for god sakes. THINK!!!
