Ok since .. I'm bored on friday afternoons ...

And since you wanted it to get lively .. I guess I'll post some 5-minute short chapters about school life .. For e.g , 1 chap could last a week of school .. or 1 chap is 1 day. It'll depend on what happens in school 'cause i'm using material from REAL school life. That means, mocks, criticisms, weaknesses. Stuff like that.

Just to make sure no one is offended ... or think's too highly of themselves, I'm making the 3rd person-p-o-v, a 12 year old, entering the first year of his sec1 life.

BTW, will be using sec 2 people from our REAL level and put em in sec1 so I won't need to come up with names and personalities.

Everything is real. That means, certain events that ... say, Eugene getting bullied, is also posted.

Now, off with that ... The intro Chapter.



Intro Chapter

"Alex. What were your choices again?"

"Erm, first choice - Riverside, second choice - Evergreen, third choice - Christ Church, four choi-"

"Ok, ok. Go and eat your breakfast."

"Alright mum ..."

2 months later

"I can't believe it! How can you not let my son in! He has a score of 210! That's pretty good!"

"Mam, calm down. We can't let your son in because his score doesn't meet expectations of the sch-"

"EXPECTATIONS! MY SON WILL HELP YOUR SCHO-"

"Mam, please cal-"

"CALM DOWN?! WITH THIS NONSENSE?! NO! YOU LET MY SON EN-"

"Mam! If you don't calm down, I'll be forced to call in security and escort you out of my school!"

"HMPH! YOU KNOW NOTHING OF EXPECTATIONS! ALEC, COME WITH ME."

"Y-y-es mother."

1 Week later

"First off, I'd like to say to our newcomers, welcome! And to our old hands - Welcome back! I hope that this year at Evergreen, we would have great moments, just like previous years! First off a few announcements by Mr Sanjay."

Looking all around him, Alex noticed that his fellow secondary 1's were all looking the same. Anxious and nervous. He looked to left of him, where sat a boy who looked rather pale.

"Hey, I'm Alex. What's your name?"

The pale boy turned to Alex and his paleness disappeared. He suddenly looked relieved and happy. "I'm Eugene. Nice to meet you."

Alex smiled and took out his hand. Eugene took it and both shook hands.

"Why were you looking so pale?"

Eugene did not answer immediately but rather beckoned Alex to lean his head closer. He whispered "well, not sounding stupid or anything ... I was scared I'd go through the first days of school without making a friend. I've already seen others talking to each other and making new friends ..."

Alex didn't think much of it. Alex had the same feeling too. "Well Eugene. I was thinking like that too. But we're both wrong. We're each other's friend now."

"Thanks .. I guess."

"No pro-"

"Yeah and I'm Shakir. Could you guys pipe down and listen to the last announcement? I mean if you don't want to, at least me listen to it. Noisy fools."

Alex rolled his eyes. A smart elect sitting right behind him. Nevertheless, he and Eugene stopped their conversation and listening to Mr Sanjay.

" ... and the orientation camp will be held next week's friday. Sec 1's will go through some orientation lessons, such as ice-break sessions. Basically to get to know their classmates better. Sec 1's will be spending 2 days and 1 night at the camp. Further information will be told by your form teachers."

Eugene turned to Alex who grinned. Both immediately shouted "Yeah! An orientation camp!" and realized they weren't the only ones celebrating. Some of the other sec 1's were cheering.

Ok, it's boring but it's an intro chap. Intro's are usually there to explain the whole base of the whole plotline.
